D/Dx(differential diagnosis) against choking is follow.
Respiratory system : COPD, tension pneumothorax, spontaneous pneumothorax, pulumonary embolism, epigpottitis, foregin body in respiratory tract and/or esophagus, airway obstruction (SAS, anaphylaxie, goiter), hyperventilation syndrome, community acquired pneumonia, aspiration, non-typical pneumonia (mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Legionellosis), asthma, Churg-Strauss syndrome, interstitial pneumonia(secondary to collagen, primary), asbestosis, pneumoconiosis, silicosis, malignant mesothelioma, lung cancer, pleurisy, Wegener granuloma, Goodpasture syndrome, TB, IE
Nervous system : stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, MG, paraneoplastic syndrome, phrenic nervous palsy, congenital deficiency
Others : anemia, HIV, hypo-/hyperthyreosis, panic syndrome, AP/MI/heart failure, SLE, pregnancy, damage after intubation
We could not remind for most popular pathgen in community acquired pneumonia for this age; S. pneumoniae, H. influenzae, aerobes, virus.
The case was difficult, because typical disease appear as atypical symptoms.
