After that, I went to wards to follow inpatient.
Infectious Diseases team don't have own beds. Every consultation comes from different unit. When we work in wards, we involved many events. Sometimes a patient ask us to call his/her physician in charge. Sometimes a patient ask us to postpone exams because of sick condition. Another time, we are asked to manage new patient in first time.
We work in this hospital a month. So, some doctor recognize our face as Infectious Diseases staff.
I was suddenly asked to do a new consult.
In lunch time, we visited to another hospital to listen our attending physician's lecture. It was about hepatitis C. The detail of treatment protocol was difficult for medical student, but we can know the outline and new trend.
We can eat lunch 50%, because we cannot end of our duty until the team meeting. Today was good day to reach lunch.
After working, we, Oman resident, Mexican student, and me went to eat the following restaurant.
We discuss the different of health care system and carrier plan as a doctor.
In Oman, there are two medical school, one is public, another is private. Except top 3 student, their speciality was decided by government. For top 10 student, government prepare free training program in foreign hospitals.
Every native languages are different among us, Arabic, Spanish, Japanese. But we can communicate by English.
