Today, I met most impressive consultation.
It was pre-transplantation consultation. We considered what kind of latent diseases the patient could get, which immunization was recommended, and whether there is infection focus.
We considered CMV, EBV, VZV, toxoplasma, syphilis, HBV, HCV, HIV, HTLV-1, schistosoma, and tuberculosis as latent infection diseases.
In Japan, transplantation is not popular.
